Ancient Philosophy

See the menu to the left for examples of different material types you are interested in. For using databases to search your chosen topic the following are suggested:

Cambridge Companions to Philosophy, Religion and Culture online essays by scholars in philosophy, good for general overviews of philosophers and topics, but can get into more specifics of a particular topic

Phil Papers indexes philosophy books and journal articles from across the profession, you may need to cross check with the catalog or ebscohost to check to see if we have it. You can often access a pdf from a green "download button" if it is available.

Ebscohost search all databases or choose the particular ones to search the relevant content, we may have access to content indexed in print or online, Interlibrary loan request button accessible for articles not available in print or online.
