The Book Sale will be held in St. Michael Hall Gym

 The gym is located on the lower level of St. Michael Hall.  

Watch for the signs as you enter campus.

 Parking will be available next to St. Michael Hall or in front of the Basilica church.

Campus Directions

Once inside the main entrance, drive around the circle drive until it takes you to the left.

Park in the lower parking lot nearest St. Michael Hall.  If all of the spaces are taken, you may park in the lot in front of the church.

St. Michael Hall Gym is located in the lowest level of the building.  The ramp will take you from the parking lot to the entrance.

When Google Maps opens, click on the blue button with a magnifying glass icon

You will be able to enter in your address to find directions to Conception Abbey

Library Items

Thousands of Books

All kinds of Fiction

Including Detective and Suspense, Espionage, Romance, Historical, Legal, etc.

 

Nonfiction subjects

Including History, Health, Cooking, Humor, Social Issues, Politics, Art & Architecture, Psychology, Philosophy, Religion, Spirituality, and more

 

Most of the books are donations without library markings.

 

There will also be CDs and DVDs.

Book Prices

Saturday, September 30 (1-5pm) - Most Items - $2.00

Sunday, October 1 (1-5pm) - Most Items - $1.00

We will have a selection of DVDs, CDs and Video Cassettes for sale as well.

 

We accept Cash, Checks and Credit Cards

Book Sale Proceeds will be used for providing quality resources for our monks and seminarians.

Donation Policy

We accept donations of books in good shape at any time.

  • Items that are needed in the library are added to the collection.
  • Items that are not needed in the library are put in the library book sale.
  • Items may be sent to an online bookseller.  The library receives a percentage of the sales.

 

Outdated items or items in poor shape may be discarded.

All proceeds from the sale of donated items go to support library programs.

The library does not appraise items for donor’s tax purposes.
